Currently, our app allows setting a cancellation policy that binds customers for a fixed period (e.g., three orders). However, this restriction is applied only once and does not automatically renew for another fixed period after completion.
A merchant has requested the ability to have subscriptions that:
Bill customers monthly and deliver orders monthly.
Bind customers for an initial three-month period.
Automatically renew for another three-month period once the initial term is completed, rather than allowing cancellations after the first cycle.
Currently, the cancellation policy binds customers for a set period (e.g., three months) but does not renew automatically. A merchant wants the option for subscriptions to extend for another three months once the initial period ends while maintaining monthly billing and deliveries. This would ensure continuous commitment rather than a one-time restriction.
