Use Case:
Merchants would like the ability for Appstle to identify when multiple subscription orders from separate subscription contracts are scheduled for delivery on the same date and avoid charging shipping multiple times.
Current Behavior:
Subscription contracts are processed independently. If a customer has multiple subscriptions with different contracts, shipping charges are applied to each order based on the contract's shipping configuration, even when orders are delivered on the same day.
Requested Enhancement:
Introduce a mechanism to detect subscription orders scheduled for the same delivery date and either:
Consolidate the orders into a single shipment when possible, or
Apply shipping charges only once across those orders.
Merchant Impact:
This would improve the customer experience by preventing duplicate shipping charges, reduce shipping costs, and encourage customers to maintain multiple subscriptions without concern about being charged shipping multiple times for same-day deliveries.

You can consolidate orders that fall on the same day so shipping isn't charged twice. Enable
Same-day order consolidation
