Merchant requests more granular control over Customer Portal product actions.

Current limitation:

Products available for “Add Products” and “Swap Product” share the same product pool.

This prevents merchants from offering curated add-on products that customers can add/remove without also making them eligible swap targets.

Requested enhancement:

Ability to configure dedicated “add-on only” products in the portal that can be:

Added

Removed

Edited

But excluded from “Swap Product”

Alternative request:

Split current restriction settings into granular controls such as:

Prevent Swap

Prevent Remove

Prevent Edit

instead of the current combined “cannot edit/remove/swap” behavior.

Primary use case:

Subscription box merchants wanting customers to swap only between core subscription products while separately managing optional curated upsell add-ons.
