Request to add a VIP tier point multiplier feature that allows merchants to assign higher point values for specific customer tiers. For instance, customers in the Gold tier could earn 2 points per $1 spent instead of the default 1 point. If you're looking to assign different points-earning capabilities to each VIP tier in your loyalty program, this can easily be achieved by utilizing tags which gets assigned to a customer once they achieve the VIP tier.
Here’s how it works:
- Tagging VIP Customers: When a customer reaches VIP status within a particular tier, a tag is automatically assigned to their profile. This tag corresponds to the specific VIP tier they belong to.
- Creating Tier-Specific Rules: Once the tag is assigned, you can create customized "Earn Points" or "Redeem Points" specifically for customers in that VIP tier. The tag allows the system to identify them, so the earning potential aligns with their VIP status.
- Multiple Rules for Different Tiers: You can set up various "Earn Points" and "Redeem Points" rules tailored to each VIP tier. This enables you to differentiate between the earning rates and redemption options for different groups of VIP customers.
This flexible tagging system allows you to build a more personalized experience for your customers and rewards them according to their VIP status.
